The past six months at Princeton Properties have been a time of profound transition. The passing of our founder, Mr. Herscot, was a deeply emotional moment for all of us. We miss him dearly. He built something truly special, and designed it with care, so the company would continue to grow and thrive for generations to come. 

Today, we are proud to share the next chapter in that story: a milestone retirement and a series of well-earned promotions that honor the legacy Mr. Herscot created while embracing the leadership that will carry us into the future. 

A Fond Farewell to Howard “Chiefy Reefy” Reef 

For more than 35 years, Howard Reef has served as Princeton’s Chief Financial Officer, bringing unmatched intelligence, wit, and warmth to the organization. As one of the original three, alongside Mr. Herscot and Terry Flahive, Howard helped shape the brand, culture, and business we know and love today. 

He’s been a mentor, a friend, and a consistent champion of “our people.” While Howard will always be part of the Princeton family, he has announced his decision to retire effective June 30, 2025. We thank him for his decades of loyalty, leadership, and heart. His presence will be missed, but his legacy will be felt for years to come. 

A Legacy of Leadership at Princeton Properties: Advancing the Next Chapter 

We are also thrilled to announce the promotion of five exceptional individuals whose commitment and leadership have been instrumental to Princeton’s continued success. Collectively, they bring 140 years of experience within the organization. More importantly, they share a belief in servant leadership—the idea that supporting our front-line teams is the surest way to deliver meaningful, lasting impact. 

Sarah Greenough – President 

With more than 30 years in the industry, Sarah has been a driving force behind Princeton’s innovation and evolution. Her strategic leadership across marketing, revenue, and technology has pushed our company forward with clarity and purpose. Her promotion to President reflects not only her achievements but the deep respect she’s earned across the company and the multifamily industry. 

Dan Harvey – Chief Revenue Officer 

Dan’s journey from leasing consultant in 2001 to the executive team speaks volumes about his character and capability. Built on a foundation of integrity and mentorship, his career reflects the values Princeton holds dear. As CRO, he will continue to elevate operational performance and the resident experience throughout our portfolio. 

Cheryl Yabroudy – Chief Operations Officer 

Cheryl is known for her rare ability of pairing genuine care for others with practical, solution-driven leadership, straightforward problem-solving and operational excellence, she leads with heart and clarity—ensuring our teams feel supported and empowered every step of the way. 

Tim White – Chief Financial Officer 

Tim has quietly guided Princeton’s financial operations behind the scenes for more than 30 years. As Howard’s trusted second-in-command, he’s earned respect for his steady, thoughtful leadership. Now stepping into the CFO role, Tim will continue to steer Princeton with financial strength and consistency. 

Jayne Ricardo – Chief Human Resource Officer 

Since 1997, Jayne has led with a people-first mindset that has helped define Princeton’s culture. Her thoughtful, practical approach to HR has shaped how we support, develop, and care for our teams. Her promotion to CHRO is a well-earned recognition of her deep and lasting influence on Princeton Properties.
