Chairman James Herscot founded Princeton Properties in 1973. He has built the company into a multifaceted real estate company specializing in apartments and furnished suites. His vision has allowed the executives to aggressively pursue new acquisitions, major rehabilitations and new construction. As a result of Jim's accomplishments and integrity, some of the leading financial institutions in the country have selected Princeton as their joint venture partner and have committed significant debt financing to finance Princeton's rehabilitations, acquisition and construction activities. These include General Electric Capital Corporation and Citicorp and Bank America. Currently there are 38 communities located in Maine, New Hampshire and Massachusetts and totaling 5,500 apartment homes. Princeton has won national recognition every year since 1995. These national awards include Best Multifamily Rehab, Best Asset Turnaround, Property Manager of The Year, Best Rehab and finalist for Property Management Firm of The Year, Most Creative Financing and Best Affordable Brochure. Jim is a graduate of Phillips Exeter Academy and Harvard University.

Andrew Chaban is the Chief Executive Officer of Princeton Properties. He is considered to be one of the foremost industry experts in the field of rehabilitation and management of multifamily rental housing

Locally, Andrew is the past President of the North East Builders Association of Massachusetts, past President of the Rental Housing Association of the Greater Boston Real Estate Board, a Board Member, Public Policy Committee Member and a past State Representative to the National Association of Home Builders for the Home Builders & Remodelers Association of Massachusetts, a Member of Tufts University Trustee Building & Grounds Committee. Andrew was chosen as one of the “125 Leaders Making a Difference” by Banker and Tradesman of Boston, MA and was the recipient of the B’nai Brith Man of the Year award.

Andrew serves as Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Pike School in Andover, MA.

Andrew is also very involved with the National Association of Home Builders. Currently Andrew is the immediate Past Chairman of the Housing Finance Committee, a Capitol Club Member, Executive Board Member, Life Director and Investments Committee Chairman. In the past he was National Area Chairman (2009 - 2011), Moderator (2007) of the State Representatives, Chairman (2007) of the Public Affairs Committee, Chairman (2006) of the State and Local Government Affairs Committee, Chairman (2005) of the Federal Government Affairs Committee, Chairman (2003) of the Capitol Club, Chairman (2003 & 2013) of the Resolutions Committee and Multifamily Chairman (2001). Andrew was the founding Chairman of the Housing Credit Certification Board, responsible for credentialling tax credit compliance professionals.

Princeton Properties has been awarded NAHB’s Pillars of The Industry Awards eight times. These prestigious national awards include Best Multifamily Rehab, Best Asset Turnaround, Property Manager of The Year, and the Property Management Firm of The Year. The National Apartment Association recognized a Princeton property as well multiple times. Locally, the Rental Housing Association of the Greater Boston Real Estate Board has recognized a Princeton property for its Community Excellence Award multiple times.

Andrew is a cum laude graduate of Tufts University and lives in Andover, MA with his wife and two sons.

President Terry Flahive joined Princeton Properties in 1987. His focus is on impacting revenue through both furnished and unfurnished leasing. Under Terry's direction, Princeton Properties has become the largest provider of furnished corporate apartments in New England. Terry is also responsible for the development of personnel and training programs. Today, Princeton employs 250 people and offers programs such as training programs involving customer service, leasing and fair housing and Employee Assistance Programs to aid employees with difficult personal issues.

Currently Terry is on the Board of Directors for the Lowell Plan of Lowell, Massachusetts, a public-private partnership founded by Senator Paul Tsongas and an active member of the Corporate Housing Providers Association. Terry received a B.A. from Middlebury College and a M.A. from the University of Massachusetts.

Howard Reef joined Princeton Properties in 1989. He has been responsible for the acquisition, deal structuring and related financing of approximately 4,000 apartment units with an aggregate value of approximately $180,000,000. Approximately one-half of these acquisitions involved the establishment of affordable housing, the issuance of tax-exempt bond financing and the related sale of tax credits. He also was responsible for raising approximately $8,500,000 of capital through private placement offerings.

Howard is a member of the Real Estate Finance Association of Massachusetts, the National Association of Corporate Real Estate Executives and the Financial Executives' Institute. He received a B.S.B.A. degree in Accounting and Finance from Boston University.

Daniel Endyke

Senior Vice President, Development & Acquisition

Daniel Endyke, Vice President of Acquisitions and Development, joined Princeton Properties in 1993. He works closely with our Chairman, CEO, President and project & property managers in acquiring, developing, rehabilitating, repositioning, and the ongoing management of existing multifamily communities.

Dan is responsible for performing and directing all due diligence associated with new acquisitions and development. This includes the acquisition and permitting of land. He directs the development of the site plan; working closely with site engineers, architects, municipal leaders, and lending institutions to ensure properties are built with quality, on schedule, and within budget. In the past 6 years, Princeton has acquired and/or built multifamily assets valued in excess of $100,000,000.

Dan has direct oversight responsibilities for the majority of Princeton's third-party managed properties - previously including 1208 units in Atlanta, GA and 500+ units of new construction in Eastern Massachusetts. Dan graduated from Assumption College with a B.A. in Management.

Sarah Greenough

Sarah Greenough joined Princeton Properties in 1995. Her focus has been on impacting revenue generation through marketing, media development, apartment leasing, relationship building and nurturing the online presence. Sarah’s areas of expertise and focus include website development, search engine and social media marketing, customer service, promotions, public relations, multi-media as well as implementation of new web-based and conventional sales programs.

Sarah's role includes design and implementation of advertising campaigns, evaluating web-based marketing technologies, overseeing website design, working closely with graphic artists, photographers, database engineers and web developers to ensure sites are built with quality, ease of use and accessibility. She is a licensed Massachusetts Realtor, National Apartment Leasing Professional (NALP), and Certified for Design, HTML and Photoshop. Under Sarah’s supervision, Princeton’s corporate website was a finalist for “Best Corporate Website” at the NAHB’s Pillars of The Industry Awards. She is a frequent guest speaker and session panelist at national and regional industry conferences including the Apartment Internet Marketing (AIM) Conference, New England Relocation Association (NERA), International Builders Show (IBS), National Apartment Association (NAA) Education Conference and the Rental Housing Association (RHA).

In addition, Sarah works closely with the President developing sales and training efforts to promote Princeton’s furnished apartments. She also serves as a Regional Manager for Princeton’s Metro West region focusing on the daily operations and management for these apartment communities. Ms. Greenough is a member of the Bolton Conservation Commission since 2005. She is a cum laude graduate of Assumption College, receiving a B.A. in Marketing and resides in Bolton, MA.

Dayna M. Thomson joined Princeton Properties in 1995. She oversees the management of Princeton's portfolio of apartment communities. Dayna supervises capital improvement planning along with contractor negotiations and coordination. She is responsible for proposal writing and participates in new business development. Dayna has served as the Education Committee Chairman for the Rental Housing Association of the Greater Boston Real Estate Board and as Co-Chair of the Multifamily Council of the Builders Association of Greater Boston, an affiliate of the National Association of Home Builders.

Dayna is a member of the National and New England Affordable Housing Management Association and a Housing Credit Certified Professional (HCCP). She teaches the National Apartment Association's Certified Apartment Manager designation course. Dayna received her B.A. from the University of Minnesota. She makes her home in West Newbury, MA.

Claire Collins, Vice President of Leasing and Education, joined Princeton Properties in 1989. She oversees the leasing operations of 30 apartment communities in three states. Claire is very involved in market analysis, development of marketing promotions and design and implementation of in-house training programs. She has directed the lease-up, repositioning and marketing of 15 communities acquired and subsequently rehabilitated by Princeton. Claire's involvement within the multifamily housing industry includes the National Apartment Association's Education Committee (Region II Representative), teaching the National Apartment Leasing Professional (NALP) course, and serving as a facilitator at several national industry related trade shows. Claire received her B.A. from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia.

Dick Bleakley

Dick Bleakley

Vice President, Project Management

Dick Bleakley, Vice President \ Project Management joined Princeton Properties in 1995. He is responsible for technical oversight of new construction, maintenance operations and preventative maintenance planning. Dick provides technical assistance to Princeton’s site based maintenance teams developing specifications, negotiating contracts for major capital renovations, and providing monitoring for quality assurance. He is known for his creative problem solving and for his hands on approach.

Dick is licensed in Massachusetts as a Real Estate Broker, a Master Electrician, a Journeyman Electrician and a Construction Supervisor. He holds the following designations from the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB), Graduate Master Builder (GMB), Certified Graduate Builder (CGB), Certified Green Professional (CGP), and Registered Apartment Manager (RAM). He also holds a Certified Manager of Maintenance (CMM) designation from the National Center for Housing Management.

Attorney Jeffrey M. Brown joined Princeton Properties as in-house Corporate Counsel in 2001. Attorney Brown graduated from the New England School of Law in Boston, MA. He is duly licensed to practice law in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and the United States Federal Court.

Throughout his career, Attorney Brown has concentrated his practice in various areas of real estate law including land development and permitting, negotiating purchase/sales agreements, conveyancing, institutional and private financing, landlord/tenant law, property tax abatement and condominium law. He has practiced in all phases of civil litigation in the Massachusetts Trial Court system, including the District Court, Superior Court, Northeast Housing Court, Massachusetts Land Court, the Massachusetts Appellate Tax Board, Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection Administration Appeals and the Housing Appeals Committee of the Massachusetts Department of Housing and Community Development. Attorney Brown has been involved in various litigated issues related to landlord/tenant matters, environmental permitting, local development fees, affordable housing permits, and contract enforcement. Attorney Brown is a member of the Massachusetts Real Estate Bar Association and Rental Housing Association Affordable Housing Committee.

Prior to joining Princeton Properties, Attorney Brown was a partner in the Law Offices of Perkins & Brown in Chelmsford, MA. Jeff currently resides in Massachusetts with his wife and their teenage son and they are the proud grandparents of their other son's twin girls.
